Women Fashion Trends, Do You Dig?

Spring & Summer 2009 MUST have for the Ladies...

Buy a hat (or a head scarf or a hair accessory of some description - the ponytail tubes at Louis Vuitton are a good option)
Buy a really, really fabulous pair of heels

Buy at least one single-shouldered dress (one for evening and one for summer daytime flirting would be best)

Buy something gold
Plan plenty of monochrome outfits;

Put all your blues together, and all your greens, and practice wearing them layered up, all at once;
If you're keen to invest in one of the bags of the season, go
for a long strapped one slung across your body or clutch a teeny weeny one in your palm (as at Chanel and Louis Vuitton), or, for the real deal (and bank) breaker, check out the scrunchy, hand-held ones at Prada, Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton

Okay, so how many people would spend a couple hundred or thousand on Louis Vuitton gear?
I mean honestly, in a few years when I can afford it...i will have it!!!
Will you?
And honestly, I think every girl looks great in heels and jeans! It puts a twist to the outfit!
Do you agree?

  3. Happy Birthday, Dommy!!!! We all know that I am not the one to get all dressed up for class, but when I head out I love throwing on my jeans with some pumps! And when I do make money in the next year or so, my first pay check will be dedicated to buying you and me some Louis Vuitton briefcases. As far as the whole color coordination, greens and blues is a perfect combination for the spring and summer. They also work well with black and brown since they are the "in" colors for this upcoming summer. Who ever thought of that must have been in a lonely stage :( As far as gold is concerned, I think it is way outdated and too old-lady like. Well actually just really outdated. My grandmother does not even wear gold anymore so get rid of that color!

  4. I like the idea of one shoulder dresses. I have a shirt that I love wearing off the shoulder (its not a true one shoulder) but it looks hot with it hanging off. I love big bags so I would opt for that but I dont know about it strapping across the bod like a hiking pack. Im a HUGE fan of heels with jeans.. I always wear heels as you know! I wouldn't,however, spend thousands of dollars on louie because honestly I dont think the merchandise is that great for such a large amount of money. I actually love gold and I am bringing it back. I'm going to also start buying large rings.. I think they're classy and can make an outfit without over doing it. Ok bye!

    Happy Birthday Dom!

  5. Happy Birthday Sir!

    You are right about the 1 shoulder look. It's all over the runways. Its a trendy look so I don't know if its for me... but it's in style right now for sure.

    Gold, and Metallics in general has been a big thing for a while. I'm a fan of a little more subtle metallic looks.

    And as always... ya know ma'am loves her scarves!

  7. Aw, happy bday sexy!!!

    I love your post! See, I would put down a couple of hundred on a cute dress or shoes, but not now! When I can truly afford it, I will. I plan on starting with Ralph Lauren...gonna buy everything from there when I have the money
