New Upcoming Spring Colors!

Hello!
Has anyone heard that the new colors this spring will consist of browns and beige?

Black and white colors, basically a lot of dark, boring colors!

I mean, I have nothing wrong with dark colors, I personally love how I look in black, but a whole season of this!

Oh no!
I may just wear bright pink every day!

  1. HI! I haven't heard that, but I have heard golds. You've sparked my interest so I started looking through fashion websites and found this :

    top colors for spring

    Fuchsia Red
    Salmon Rose
    Palace Blue
    Lucite Green
    Super Lemon
    Lavender
    Vibrant Green
    Slate Gray
    Rose Dust

Lavender I noticed is going to be a big color for spring which I think will go nice.

I hope BLACK is not the new spring color...!

I guess we'll all be wearing HOT PINK everyday.

  2. Hello everyone! I also found the same colors as Michele did to be the fashion colors for spring. Traditionally, spring is always full of bright colors. But what's wrong with black? You can never be "out of season" when wearing black. And it goes with everything!

  3. I Loveeeeee black, but come on, in the spring? I'm still going to wear different bright colors, anyway. But interesting, here's what I found for Spring 09:

"Designers are going back to the basics for Spring '09, offering updated twists on classic looks...Key styles for the season include shorts, rompers, jumpsuits, moto jackets, blazers and pants cropped at the ankle. Dresses continue to be important and come in updated body-conscious silhouettes and exciting new floral and digital prints. Color is key, ranging from sheer icy pastels to electric neon brights."

I got it from this site: http://www.apparelnews.net/fashion/trends/Spring-09-Back-to-Basics

    =)

    love ya Domm

  5. personally, i could wear black all year round... and while I think browns and beiges can appear very professional, i do not feel that should be worn a lot unless it is autumn!

i read michele's comment above and I am so looking forward to vibrant green and salmon rose!!! <3

  6. I say it doesn't matter what people say the colors of the season are. Wear what you love whether its black orange tan red or blue and feel good in it!!

  7. if you honestly think a color looks good on you then wear it. who cares what colors are in each season. but i did notice when i start wearing a certain color in the spring, a lot of people will start to wear it. i am not a fasion icon belive me! but if black is in all year round, we will have some depressed people!

  9. I'd have to say that "i'm out". I never pay attention to what's in whether it be style or color. I just buy what i like, most days it's a tee and jeans and that works for me. For spring though, i do get excited for the bright colors. it's a nice change going from winter colors (black, dark greens, reds, creams, etc.) to something a little more vibrant. My absolute fav is when you can finally wear white and not worry about it! (i hate whoever made up that stupid rule!)

  10. Mimosa is the color for 2009 as predicted by Pantone (www.pantone.com). You think it's orange, but it's actually like a marigold yellow. It will probably transition into a more lemongrass/citrine hue in the summer. Think Michelle Obama at the Presidential Inauguration.

Doubting Pantone's cred? They accurately predicted shades of purple as the colors of 2008, and that was pretty spot on. I got the scoop from a Fashion Specialist at work.

  12. I was in New York and visited the Tobe Report and they gave a presentation on the designer trends for spring 09 that will trickle down to the larger market in s/s 10.
There were 4 trends: authentica, lux-otica, sweet-tart, and power chic. Each line featured brights, especially in purple tones, pops of orange coral, and accents of pink and green.

Have no fear sir, there will be tons of color for your spring attire.
