Hello Fashion Friends-- I would like to know what everyone thinks of UGGs?
Although, with the economy it seems to be that some people will be more conce
rned with "feeling good" rather then "looking good" Sales of UGGs grew 57% last year!What does this mean?!?,
These bulky, brown tragedies, will be all over in 2009--Whether your out at the bar or on the subway--you will see UGGS!
Personally, I am not sure what I think; some people do look nice in them...
Will this be an UGG economy?!?

I personally like UGGs, but more for comfort rather than looks these days. Although, I do think that UGGs can look good with a nice outfit, sweats, or leggings. The leggings UGG look is cute but not everyone can pull it off and EVERYONE seems to be going for that look these days. UGGs are very comfortable and you can throw them on with any outfit and go out. I would like an UGG economy... well.... maybe.

I think UGGs are very plain looking. Will agree they are comfortable. But also expensive. Me personally, I like to be different - not wear what everyone else is. Whatever happened to originality!!!
ReplyDeleteUggs might be okay if we all lived in Alaska... but we don't! They were designed to be a practical warm boot but have taken over the world of Northface and legging wearing girls. I think they make girls (and guys) look like little round meatballs. Who wants to look bigger than they are?

I think UGGs are the most comfortable shoes ever made. I noticed (since the sales lady went into a really in depth explanation of the real purpose of the shoes) that the last pair I bought I finally got the reason why they aren't the most fashionable, but they are definitely live up to the comfort aspect. I would enjoy an UGG economy, they are more dependable than our actual economy situation anyway.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE boots! I cannot afford UGGS so I always buy a brand called BearPaw. Since I didn't spend a lot of money on them I am don't get angry when people step on me and I can wear them in the snow. They keep my toes warn, my pants dry and I think they look adorable with jeans or leggins...but I am no fashion expert. I will be wearing them in winters to come.

UGGS = who cares! They are selling them for way too much money and not everyone can afford a pair. I'd rather buy the FUGGS haha which are the same thing except less expensive and don't have the gay name on them. Who needs a label? Be your own person!
ReplyDeleteUGGS=UGLY!!! Although extremely comfortable, they will never make a fashion statement. There are way to many people out there trying to rock them with LEGGINGS, STOP! They look cute with a pair of rolled jeans and comfy, cute sweaters. They DON'T look cute with leggings and Sun dresses. Stop trying to make Uggs a trend. They never will be.

Well your big sis believes that UGGs are the most comfy shoes she's ever worn. I now need a black pair. They're way overpriced, however, I love them!
