Is it Spring Yet?!?
So, I think that living on the West Coast requires you to wear sunglasses EVERYDAY! (hypothetically speaking)
Truthfully, I like this idea! I always wear sunglasses (even if its rainy out)
I feel like everyone should own a nice pair. For instance I have a pair of Ray Bans that I LOVE & keep great care of!
For Men, the sunglasses I pick of the season:
Mykita Roof Sunglasses: They are made out of pressed steel, don't use any screws (PLUS), and the hinges are made of folded over metal!

You know how much I love my sunglasses!!! I just bought a pair of Prada's! Sunglasses are like jeans! You can never have enough! I think everyone should own a nice pair of designer sunglasses for every day of the week like me! :)
ReplyDeleteWell this is something that I definitely do know a lot about! I work at Sunglass Hut (if you need a discount Dominic let me know haha 30% some new RayBans) back at home and I think people should spend the money to get themselves a nice pair. Whether it be for protection for your eyes or to make a fashion statement, sunglasses are something that you can hold on to for a long time if you take good care of them making it a worthwhile investment. I have a pair of Dolce & Gabbana's from a couple years ago and they are absolutely amazing. For the amount of money that they were, they have lasted me for this long without breaking apart or anything.
ReplyDeleteMen: PRADA.. let me say it again.. P R A D A. All Sunglass Huts (for the most part) are equipped with Prada's 2009 sunglass collection. I almost always go for Prada when selling men sunglasses unless your sporty and go for Oakleys or something.
Women: Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana, Bvlgari. Enough said.
For anyone looking for polarized sunglasses, these brands carry them for a good price: Maui Jim, Oakley, RayBan, some Ralph Lauren, some D&G.

Karen Walker sunglasses... if you don't know about them.. check them out. They rock my world, I just don't own a pair.
ReplyDeleteI love my RayBan's, and want another 1000 pairs because they are classic. I'm not crazy about having a tacky D&G or Chanel logos plastered on the side of my face so I don't really like flashy designer glasses. Honestly, it's so easy to get fake designer sunglasses that it makes me a little angry. That's another reason I'm not a fan of the Dolce's and so on. If I spend money on my glasses I don't want a fake copy made!
I love sunglasses! Very stylish. They give a person a mysterious, sexy look. :)

i am with sara, but sometimes i want a nice, funky pair for the beach or riding in the car. i have to have dior sunglasses, but of course the cheap kind. jeans and sunglasses are very synonymous and i agree with you stephen!
ReplyDeleteI love sunglasses because they protect my eyes, but, most of all, because they intimidate others. There's nothing better than wearing sunglasses indoors and talking to people. Notice where they look (or don't). It's a power thing.

ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the other day that I am hell on sunglasses... I love them, but I only ever buy cheapy ones because I break them so easily. No point buying an expense pair when they will get crushed within a few weeks anyway.
Still, If I didn't break them so often, i'd probably be a sunglasses whore..

I like sunglasses, but I personally don't wear them all the time... only when it is sunny out. Hey if you like wearing sunglasses everyday.. do your thing! But I like the classic RayBans that we are going to be seeing a lot of this season (prediction). I worked at an opticians and I also agree that a person should own one good pair of sunglasses for the protection of eyes.. they work!
