So, I decided to write a blog today despite the cold, rainy weather! Summer soon please!!!
Recently, I have noticed that a lot of metro sexual males or gay men wear a causal outfit with a tie.
I believe this is a great look! If you & your boyfriend, (for you girls or gay men), are going out one night, spruce the outfit up with a tie.
Wearing this tie with a pair of nice jeans and a nice shirt will make you stand out!
Express for men has a lot of great ties and colors to choose from!
The reason I like this look, for a nice dinner or bar night, is to feel comfortable and look classy!
What do you think? Do you like the tie look? Is it cheesy?
Has anyone ever thought of buying their loved one a tie?

I think YOU look great in a tie! I like the metro guys in ties and I'm really into the preppy guys with ties especially when the tie and dress shirt are just popping out of an argyle sweater! Of course we all know my boyfriend is a lumberjack and NEVER wears ties haha. A girl can only dream... I guess I'll stick to my world of flannel and beards.
ReplyDeleteTies - they look different on everyone. All you hot sexy guys can definately pull it off and look fantastic ... but if you're pairing the tie with a pocket protector or a sweater vest it's a whole other look.
ReplyDeleteI love the tie look. I like the fact that you can wear it either way, dressy or casual. when i get a man the first thing i'm buying him is a tie for our one month anniversary!
ReplyDeleteyeah, I have seen this look lately...but unfortunately, a lot of guys still don't know WHICH tie to choose...I think they need a skinny tie, and not a regular one. Armani, J. Crew, and I think even Express all carry skinny ties now

a pair of jeans a button up and a tie do it for me! i also like when they wear a nice blazer for a more dressed up look.
ReplyDeleteI personally love a man in a tie! I even went through a stage in high school wear I would wear ties with my outfits. lol. I think ties are kind of like a great pair of shoes... they can totally dress up an otherwise boring outfit... So rock on with the ties!
ReplyDeleteI love the tie look. BUT I think that only some people can pull it off while other people just look ridiculous and over the top. Dom.. you look great in the tie look. I think it makes you look very classy. I would buy a tie for my boyfriend (if i had one haha) if I thought he could pull it off, but you have to have a certain look. I kinda like the little tie look on girls too with a business attire.

ReplyDeletei love men in ties with jeans and a vest. i think it's original and very fun especially if you're out for a night on the town. i think girls look good in ties too when they're wearing suits. if i had a boyfriend i would tell him to wear a tie with jeans every once in a while...it makes you look fashionable and fun :)
ReplyDeleteTotal tie guy here. Restaurants, bar nights, concerts--paired jeans, with or without a vest, it signals that you possess more style than the average Joe. I wore one to Mad River in Manayunk last weekend, and my competition for best dressed male was few and far between. Those college fellas could use a good tie tutorial. I say: when in doubt, tie it up!
