Mr. Warm Sun, where are you?!?

Hello all!

So recently it has been cold one day & warm the next. I am just curious as to how everyone handles this.

For instance, one day I wear jeans & flip flops and the next day is FREEZING out!
I am so ready for some warm weather! What do you all think?

Are you ready for warm weather and the sun? Do you get confused some days when you wake up because it looks so sunny out but is really freezing?!?

Thanks & love always,
Dominic Anthony

  2. Todays weather was so deceiving! It was so sunny yet freezing cold. AND the wind! It has been killing me. Even if I wanted to do my hair, the style would not last on my walk to class. I love warm weather and I SO need a tan!

  3. This weather is awful!!! It is so different from NJ to PA... It will be sunny and kinda warm in NJ and then cold and windy in PA (less than 30 minutes from each other). I HATE it! Bring on the Spring!!!

  4. Dom: We are a month behind in terms of weather. If you remember, it was warm through October: 70s on Halloween.

I don't mind provided that there is sun. I don't mind the rain provided that it isn't cold and windy, too. I just keep thinking that I'll want these days in the stinking humidity of July.

  5. Absolutely hate the cold weather! If I had it my way, we'd all be walking around barely clothed all the time. But I don't break out the tanks, shorts, etc. until these cold-warm-cold days are over. I'd rather be overdressed and warm than underdressed and cold.

  6. If you sit back and watch people on the street you can see that they are confused about the whole spring thing too. My favorite was a lady in a big puffy black coat that went to her knees and then popping out was a bright red skirt, NO TIGHTS, and bamboo platform lace up peep-toe sandals! The lady was dressed for an island vacation covered by an eskimo jacket. Needless to say that made my day!

  7. I can't stand the cold..warm ..cold weather pattern ..its so decieving. But on the other hand - I enjoyed the warm days thrown in the mix that we've recently had. The weather is annoying though because some days it will look extremely sunny out and be freezing and other days miserable but warm. Lets face it though.. our winter was not bad at all and now that spring is here -lets keep our fingers crossed - it starts to really warm up. Also, on miserable days I go tanning and it definetly takes away the chill and brightens my mood... I suggest anyone try it!

  8. I can't compain about the rollercoaster weather pattern we've been having lately, because I am definitely grateful for any warm weather that comes our way :)
It stinks, however, not being prepared or "dressed" for the occassion. I suggest LAYERING until this weather pattern goes away.
That way, you'll be prepared either way. If it's warm out you can remove some layers, if its cold out you can keep them on.

  9. The temperature in my office is pretty standard all year round, so the weather doesn't affect my attire choices. When I really notice the fluctuating weather patterns is on trips to the gym before and after work. Since I walk there, I have to assess how many layers (pants over shorts? sweatshirt?) I need to make it there without freezing my tail off. Not that I'm really trying to make a fashion statement at the gym, but it's troublesome all the same. So please--bring on the sun! I fully intend to spend every free moment this summer laying poolside... the fewer clothes, the better.

  10. i'm sick of having to check the weather every morning before I get dressed! I try to wear jeans and a tshirt but always have a hoodie in case I get too cold. When you look outside it looks beautiful, but the damn wind gets me every time! I can't wait for jean skirts and flip flops...that's what makes me happy!
